Show Wholesale Prices to Non-Wholesale Users
WooCommerce Wholesale Prices 1.15 added a feature that lets you show wholesale prices to non-wholesale users. This feature helps attract new wholesale buyers by displaying discounted prices upfront.
To enable it, go to Dashboard > Wholesale > Wholesale Prices > Prices. Then check the “Show Wholesale Price to non-wholesale users” option.
Once this option is enabled, the wholesale price will be displayed on the front end of the WooCommerce store. Consequently, non-wholesale users can clearly see the discounts available to them. However, this information is shown only to guests, customers, administrators, and shop managers.
Additionally, the display location can be configured. The wholesale price may be shown on archive pages as well as on single product pages. Furthermore, if the WooCommerce Wholesale Order Form plugin is installed and activated, the wholesale price can also be displayed on the wholesale ordering form page.
Moreover, when WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium is installed, greater flexibility is provided. Specific wholesale roles can be selected and shown to guest users. In this way, wholesale pricing visibility can be better controlled.
Likewise, if WooCommerce Wholesale Lead Capture is installed and activated, a registration text link can be added to the wholesale price box. Through this link, more wholesale leads can be captured and managed effectively.
Finally, it should be noted that non-wholesale users will still be charged the regular retail price. The wholesale price is shown only as a preview of potential savings. The discounted price will be applied only after the user is registered and approved as a wholesale customer.
