Can I Add VAT or Tax ID to My Invoice?

As an Australian company registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST), Wholesale Suite, which is a collection of plugins designed specifically for WooCommerce to add wholesale functionality to a WordPress site, is not required to collect TAX ID information from our customers. Therefore, you don’t need to provide your TAX ID when making a purchase or completing a transaction with us.

However, we understand that some customers may need their TAX ID to appear on their invoice for accounting or compliance purposes. If this is the case, we are happy to accommodate your request.

To have your TAX ID manually added to your invoice, please submit a Support Ticket through our Support Centre. Once we receive your request, a member of our team will promptly update your invoice accordingly.

How do I add Tax ID to my invoice?
To get started, contact the Wholesale Suite Support Centre. Since there’s no self-service option at checkout, a support agent will handle the request and add the details for you.

Does Wholesale Suite collect VAT for European customers?
At present, as an Australian GST-registered business, collecting tax identification details at checkout isn’t required. However, if your local regulations need it on your documents, simply submit a ticket and the team will assist.

Can Tax ID be added to previously issued billing records?
Yes, it can. Not only future invoices but also past records can be updated. Just send a request through the Support Centre with your details, and they will apply the changes accordingly.

Can my receipt serve as proof of purchase for tax purposes?
Yes, it can. Once your Tax ID is added, the receipt becomes a valid document for accounting or compliance use. After that, you can keep the updated copy for your records.

Why is there no VAT field during checkout?
By default, the checkout page does not include a tax number field, as it isn’t required for an Australian GST-registered business. If needed, you can request this information to be added after purchase through the Support Centre.
