WooCommerce Wholesale Lead Capture includes an optional reCAPTCHA field on its login and registration forms, to help keep spam signups out of your wholesale application queue. When Contact Form 7 is also active on your site and its own reCAPTCHA is enabled, two separate copies of Google’s reCAPTCHA script trying to load on the same page can conflict with each other and break the widget.
Wholesale Lead Capture checks for this automatically and skips loading its own reCAPTCHA script whenever Contact Form 7 is already loading one on the page, so only a single reCAPTCHA script ever runs.
How it works
- Wholesale Lead Capture checks whether Contact Form 7 is active on your site
- If Contact Form 7 is on a version earlier than 5.1 and has already enqueued Google’s reCAPTCHA script, Wholesale Lead Capture skips enqueuing its own
- If the IQ Fix reCAPTCHA v2 add-on for Contact Form 7 is active and set to reCAPTCHA v2, Wholesale Lead Capture applies the same check and defers to Contact Form 7’s script
- In every other case, Wholesale Lead Capture loads its own reCAPTCHA script as normal
No extra setup is needed. This runs automatically as soon as both plugins are active and reCAPTCHA is enabled on the Wholesale Lead Capture registration or login form.
