Wholesale Payment Email Reminder

Overview

Wholesale Payment now includes a built-in payment reminder feature that lets you manage all reminder emails within its existing email system, the same one used for order and shipping emails. Payment reminders are now seamlessly integrated into that workflow.

This update gives you greater control and flexibility. You can easily customize how reminder emails look and no longer need to access Stripe to update message content.

Even better, you can quickly enable or disable reminders as needed. You choose when customers get notified, whether a payment is upcoming, due today, or overdue.

With this enhancement to Wholesale Payments, staying on top of customer payments is simpler than ever.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enable wholesale payment email reminders in WooCommerce?
First, go to Wholesale > Settings > Wholesale Payment > Email Reminders. Then, toggle on Enable Email Reminders. After that, set your preferred Days Before and Days After Payment Due to schedule notifications.

Do wholesale payment reminders use WooCommerce email templates?
Yes, they do. In fact, reminders use the same WooCommerce email system as order and shipping notifications. Therefore, you can customize the subject line, heading, and message. You can also choose between HTML, plain text, or both formats.

What happens if I disable payment reminders during an active cycle?
If you disable reminders, all future notifications will stop immediately. As a result, any scheduled reminders for pending wholesale orders will not be sent.

Can I add CC or BCC recipients to payment reminder emails?
Yes, you can. Additionally, the CC/BCC feature allows you to send copies to internal teams. This helps your finance or accounting team stay updated without sending separate emails.

Why are wholesale payment reminder emails not sending to customers?
If emails are not sending, first make sure the feature is enabled in settings. Next, check that your reminder timing is set correctly. Finally, review your WooCommerce email and SMTP settings to ensure proper delivery.
