Best WordPress Wholesale Themes for WooCommerce (2024 Updated)

Choosing a WordPress wholesale theme requires careful consideration. This component defines your site’s page layouts, customization options, navigation, and so much more. It will have a significant impact on how customers interact with your product pages and checkout process, which can make or break your sales.

Fortunately, there are many WordPress themes available made with e-commerce – or more specifically, WooCommerce – in mind. Selecting one that has the power and flexibility to adapt to and support an online wholesale enterprise will set you up for success from the start.

In this post, we’ll briefly review some key features to look for when choosing a theme for your wholesale site. Then, we’ll share the five most popular themes among the members of our Store Owner Tips Facebook group. Let’s get right to it!

What To Look For In A WordPress Wholesale Theme

First, when choosing a WordPress wholesale theme, it’s important to start with the basics. You want to select one that comes with all the essential e-commerce features, such as:

  • Page layouts for your store, individual products, and checkout
  • Deep integration with WooCommerce
  • Streamlined design that won’t detract from your products
  • Regular updates and support from the developer

However, for wholesale in particular, you may also want to look for a theme that is highly customizable. This way, you can tweak your site’s styling and page layouts as needed so that they’re better suited to your store.

That said, it can also be helpful to use a theme that provides pre-built templates for your pages so that you can get your wholesale site up and running quickly. Paired with advanced customization features, this is an efficient way to build a unique site fast.

Additionally, you may want to choose a WordPress wholesale theme that includes high-quality blog layouts for your content marketing efforts. Prominent image displays can also be useful for e-commerce, as they enable buyers to get a good look at what they’re purchasing.

5 Of The Best WordPress Wholesale Themes For WooCommerce

We ran a poll on our Store Owner Tips Facebook group to learn which themes members are using on their sites. The results showed that our followers have chosen some of the top e-commerce and multipurpose themes on the market, any of which would be a perfect fit for a wholesale site.

In order of popularity among our group members, here they are.

1. Flatsome

The Flatsome WordPress wholesale theme.

Flatsome is an extremely popular premium WooCommerce theme. Although you can technically adapt it to many uses, it’s a top choice for online store owners due to its deep integration with WooCommerce. The developer makes an effort to keep it up-to-date and compatible with the latest version of the e-commerce plugin.

On top of that, Flatsome includes some extensive navigation styling options that may be of interest to wholesalers. You can create dropdown mega menus with plenty of space for dozens of products or categories, and even incorporate icons to help buyers quickly find the sections they’re looking for.

Other features include:

  • An extensive library of pre-built designs, demo sites, and wireframes (loaded externally to minimize the impact on your site’s performance)
  • A live page builder to help you visually design your site
  • Translation readiness
  • Extensive customization options and a drag-and-drop header builder

Price: Flatsome costs $59 for a regular license, which includes six months of support and updates from the developer.

2. Astra

The Astra multipurpose theme.

Considering its emphasis on customization and speed, it’s no surprise to see Astra is a top pick for store owners. Performance is an important factor for both Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and providing a smooth customer experience to maximize sales.

This multipurpose theme also includes several WooCommerce-minded features. You can create grid-based shop pages where wholesale buyers can easily browse your products, add quick-view displays so they can see an item’s details without having to navigate to another page, and enable infinite scrolling.

Astra also provides:

  • Multiple checkout process options
  • Pre-built WooCommerce templates
  • A high-quality blog layout
  • Header and footer design options

Price: There is a free version of Astra available in the WordPress Theme Directory. To access all of its features, you’ll need a premium license, which starts at $49 per year.

3. Storefront

The Storefront WooCommerce theme.

When it comes to deep integration with WooCommerce, you can’t get any better than Storefront. As the official theme for WooCommerce, it’s always up-to-date and compatible with the latest version of the plugin.

It’s also designed specifically for online stores and includes all the page layouts you’ll need to showcase your products and usher customers through the checkout process. Storefront provides ample options via the WordPress Customizer so you can highlight your branding.

Additionally, it includes features such as:

  • An e-commerce-focused home page layout to highlight your products right from the start
  • Extensions to add more customization options, conversion optimization features, and more to your site.
  • A library of child themes to kickstart your design process
  • Enhanced SEO and performance

Price: Storefront is 100 percent free to use. Premium extensions are available and vary in price.

4. Divi

The Divi premium WordPress theme.

Divi is a WordPress theme best known for its corresponding page builder. Offering the height of flexibility, this theme enables you to visually design your own layouts using pre-built elements and an intuitive column and row system.

You’ll also find plenty of options in the Divi design library to help you get started with your site. Many of them are e-commerce specific, so you can expect high-quality product page layouts and checkout functionality.

Other features include:

  • Built-in split testing
  • Contact form integration
  • WooCommerce-specific integrations, including pre-built e-commerce elements
  • Header and footer builder

5. OceanWP

OceanWP Worpdress Theme

Like Flatsome, OceanWP is a multipurpose theme that has made a name for itself as a prime e-commerce site solution. It includes a native add-to-cart popup and floating cart bar to make purchasing products on your site quick and easy for wholesale buyers.

It also includes quick-view display options and enables customers to filter your products with an off-canvas sidebar, minimizing disruptions to the ordering experience. Plus, there are several extensions available to enhance your site further.

Key features include:

  • Compatibility with popular page builders, including Elementor
  • An extensive demo library
  • Built-in SEO and performance optimization
  • Translation readiness

Price: There is a free version of OceanWP available for download. Or, you can upgrade for access to premium features and extensions. Licenses start at $35 per year.

    1. Hi Luke,

I’ve heard great things about Shoptimizer as well. As far as we’re aware it’s fully compatible with Wholesale Suite. I know a decent number of our clients use it already.
