For instance, Wholesale Suite is an all-in-one plugin solution designed to provide online entrepreneurs with everything they need to run a wholesale business:
It’s important to note that, as the name suggests, Wholesale Suite isn’t just one tool but a collection of plugins. Specifically, it boasts four plugins: Wholesale Prices Premium, Wholesale Lead Capture, Wholesale Payments and Wholesale Order Form.
There is also a free version of the base tool, WooCommerce Wholesale Prices, so you can always install it on your WordPress site to get a general sense of how the plugin works. 5 Things New Users Should Know About WooCommerce Wholesale
Now, let’s go over the top five things you should know if you’re new to Wholesale Suite! Before you begin this tutorial, you’ll need to choose a plan and install and activate the Wholesale Suite plugins. You’ll also need to activate your license. Once that’s done, you’ll be ready to go!
1. You can easily manage wholesale pricing
One of the most important features you’ll need to start a wholesale business is a way to manage wholesale pricing. Thankfully, this is super straightforward with WooCommerce Wholesale Suite, so even complete WordPress beginners shouldn’t have any trouble configuring it.
You’ll simply need to establish which customers are wholesale users and then set your wholesale prices. To begin, go to the Users section of your WordPress dashboard.
If you want to create an entirely new wholesale user, go to Add New. Alternatively, you can simply select All Users to work with a pre-existing customer profile. Now, either fill in the new customer’s information or locate the user profile you want to modify.
Then, all you have to do is select the new “Wholesale Customer” role in the dropdown menu and hit Add New User or Save Changes:
After that, go to Products > All Products and locate an item that you’d like to offer wholesale prices for. Click on Edit and then scroll down to the Product data section:
Here, you can choose between either a “Fixed” or “Percentage” wholesale price.
When you’re happy with your wholesale pricing, simply click on the Update button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen (or Save Changes if you’re working with a new product). Now, only your wholesale customers will be able to see these custom prices.
2. You can set order minimums and pricing based on product quantity
Are you new to Wholesale Suite and WordPress in general? Don’t worry, because you can access all your wholesale settings in one place. In fact, you can find tons of custom pricing options all on the same screen.
If you scroll down on the product page from our previous example, you’ll find settings that allow you to unlock a wide variety of wholesale pricing strategies. First, you’ll see the Wholesale Minimum Order Quantity panel:
Here, you can set up minimum order requirements. This setting can be handy if your wholesale store caters to multiple types of customers.
Further down, you’ll find the Wholesale Order Quantity Step, which you can use after you’ve set a minimum order quantity. In a nutshell, product quantity steps let you establish quantity increments for ordering wholesale items.
Continuing on, you might also want to configure Product Quantity Based Wholesale Pricing:
When you check the box next to Enable further wholesale pricing discounts based on quantity purchased?, you’ll be able to add quantity discount rules.
3. You can use an order form to showcase all your products on one page
Wholesale Suite provides you with all the basic (and advanced!) features you’ll need to run a wholesale business. Even better, its Wholesale Order Form tool lets you showcase all your products on one page.
Presenting your products in this way can enhance the user experience and encourage customers to buy more from your store. Once you’ve installed the plugin, you should have completed a few simple steps using the set-up wizard. So, when you go to Wholesale > Order Forms, you should see shortcode that was automatically generated:
You can add this shortcode to a page on your website, and it will display a list of all your products. It might look something like this:
However, if you want to modify your order form, you can click on the Edit button under the Action column. This will open up your drag-and-drop editor:
Here, you can customize almost every element of your wholesale order form. You’ll see that it’s divided into Form Header, Form Table, and Form Footer sections.
You can also take advantage of advanced order form features like product sorting. Plus, you can make multiple order forms and add them anywhere you like! For additional tips and tricks, you may want to follow this guide to getting started with wholesale order forms.
4. You get a lead capture tool
If you want to attract new wholesale customers and grow your business, you’ll need to find new leads. That’s why the Wholesale Suite bundle includes Wholesale Lead Capture.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Wholesale > Lead Capture. Alternatively, you can click WooCommerce > Settings > Wholesale Lead.
On this screen, you’ll see in the General settings that the tool has automatically generated multiple pages related to lead generation, including Wholesale Login, Wholesale Registration, and a Wholesale Thank You page.
If you go to Pages > All Pages, you’ll also see these new pages listed:
Let’s take a look at what our new Wholesale Registration page looks like on the front end. Keep in mind that you’ll need to log out of your admin profile if you want to preview it:
As you can see, the current registration form only has the most basic field enabled, like First Name and Last Name.
If you want to modify your form and enable additional fields, simply go to Wholesale > Lead Capture > Built In Fields:
Here, you can check the Enabled box next to any field you’d like to use. You’re also able to make your new fields mandatory by also checking Required. Then, you can modify the Placeholder Text and the Field Order.
The great thing here is that all of these pre-built fields are typically necessary for a wholesale business. However, if you’d like to create even more fields, you can go to the Custom Fields tab in your settings.

5. You can set up automated email sequences
Finally, if you’re new to WooCommerce Wholesale Suite, one of the most important elements you can leverage is its email features. The Lead Capture tool automatically generates five different email templates that you can take advantage of.
To access them, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails:
Some of these emails are notifications for site admins, while others are intended for users who have successfully completed an action. For instance, you’ll get a New Wholesale Lead (Admin) template and a Wholesale Account Approved template:
Naturally, your new wholesale users will likely want to know what’s happening with their registration application. So, this feature can help keep customers happy and boost confidence in your wholesale business.
Furthermore, if an issue arises and a user is rejected, they’ll know right away. This will enable them to try and remedy it sooner rather than later.
As you can see, these emails will be automatically customized to include a user’s personal information. Modify any of these templates as you see fit. Then, select Save changes when you’re finished. That’s it!

Launching and managing a wholesale business differs significantly from traditional e-commerce. Therefore, you’ll need a unique set of wholesale tools to ensure your WooCommerce wholesale store runs smoothly. Luckily, WooCommerce Wholesale Suite can provide you with everything you need and more!
